Unmatched Adventures: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles allows players to take on the roles of Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo to fight against one of two villains, Shredder or Krang, who are controlled by an automated system. This game can be played cooperatively or solo, and like all Unmatched sets, the heroes can be used in competitive play against any other Unmatched character.

The Restoration Games edition is the core retail version published in the US market. Functionally, it is nearly identical to the Iello Edition, with minor production differences such as specific component sizes and box insert designs.
